Choose a gift product and a qualifying order spend. Show shoppers what is included and let them add the gift from the cart. Shopify checks whether the order qualifies and applies the gift discount at checkout. Track gift requests and pause the promotion from a focused dashboard. For USD stores using an Online Store theme. One gift is discounted per qualifying order; an ineligible gift keeps its normal price.

GETTING STARTED

Know the setup.

After public release, install Perk from its own Shopify listing and open it in Shopify admin. The initial release supports English, USD shop currency and Online Store 2.0 themes with app blocks.

1. In Shopify Products → Collections, create an automated collection with the handle perk-qualifying-products and exactly one condition: Price is greater than 0. It may remain unpublished; Perk uses it to define qualifying products.
2. Choose an available gift variant and qualifying spend in a new Perk campaign. Add the gift block to your cart and enable the campaign and storefront display.
3. Test below and at the threshold. Shoppers explicitly add the gift; Shopify rechecks eligibility at checkout. One gift receives the discount per qualifying order.

Save your campaign, enable the app, and add its block to a duplicate theme before publishing. Test the customer flow and checkout using your store’s products and shipping rules.

What if the cart no longer qualifies?

Shopify checks the qualifying spend again at checkout. If the order is ineligible, the gift keeps its normal price. Only one gift is discounted per qualifying order.
